Salam is a telecom engineer and digital policy expert with extensive experience across the public, private, and international sectors. She currently serves as Open Connect Partner Engagement Director for EMEA at Netflix, leading strategic partnerships across the region. 

Previously, she was Regional Director for the Middle East at the Internet Society and National ICT Strategy Coordinator in the Office of the Prime Minister of Lebanon. She has also worked with global organizations like the EU and UNDP, and held board roles with NGOs supporting policy and social reform. 

Salam served on the RIPE NCC board (2013–2019) and is currently on the boards of AMS-IX and LEB-IX. She holds an MBA from ESA Beirut and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona. She is passionate about advancing internet access and empowering women in tech.
